Getting Started

Which areas do you serve?

LaVonne serves Dallas-Fort Worth and Surrounding Areas, including Grand Prairie, Arlington, Cedar Hill, Mansfield, DeSoto, Midlothian, and Waxahachie. If your location is not listed, reach out to discuss your needs.

Can I start if I am still exploring?

Yes. You can start with a conversation about your goals, preferred location, and timing—even if you are not ready to move. Use Request Information, call, or text to connect with LaVonne.

What should I share when I reach out?

Tell LaVonne whether you want to buy, sell, lease, invest, or discuss a property transition. Your preferred area, general budget, and timeline are helpful starting points. Please do not include Social Security numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive records in an inquiry.

Buying & Selling

Why is it important to have my own REALTOR® when buying a new-construction home?

The builder’s sales representative represents the builder. Your own buyer’s agent represents your interests. A new home is still a major purchase, and having independent guidance can help you make informed decisions.

LaVonne can help you compare communities and available homes, discuss pricing and incentives, identify questions about upgrades and what is included, and coordinate communication, deadlines, inspections, and your final walkthrough. Ask about warranty coverage and have legal questions about the builder’s contract reviewed by an attorney.

Contact LaVonne before your first model-home visit or online builder registration. Some builders require your agent to register you or accompany you on the first visit to recognize the agent or offer compensation. Policies vary, so check before you go.

Discuss the buyer representation agreement and compensation upfront. Builder-paid compensation is not guaranteed; your responsibility for any fee depends on your written agreement and any contribution the builder agrees to make.

Call 626-525-SOLD (7653) before visiting a new-home community so you can plan your next step together.

Can you help me buy my first home?

Yes. LaVonne can help you clarify your priorities, explore available homes, and understand the steps in the purchase process. Bring your questions about the search, making an offer, and preparing for your next move.

Should I speak with a lender before touring homes?

If you plan to finance a purchase, a lender can explain financing options and the documentation they need. LaVonne can help you coordinate your search around the budget and timing you discuss with your lender.

How do I request a showing?

Open Search Homes, find a property that interests you, and use the showing or inquiry option on the listing. You can also call or text LaVonne with the property address or MLS number and your preferred times. Showings depend on availability and confirmation.

How do I find out what my home may sell for?

Contact LaVonne with your property address and your plans. You can discuss comparable properties, the condition of your home, and a pricing approach. A suggested listing price is not a guarantee of the final sale price.

Do I need to make repairs before selling?

You do not need to decide on repairs before your first conversation. Discuss the property’s current condition, your timeline, and whether preparation or selling in its current condition may fit your goals.

Can you help me sell my current home and buy another?

Yes. Start by sharing your preferred timing and whether you have already found another home. LaVonne can help you think through the sequence of the sale and purchase and coordinate with the other professionals involved.

What costs should I ask about before buying or selling?

Ask for a discussion of the costs that may apply to your transaction, including brokerage services, lender charges, inspections, title services, and moving expenses. The amount and responsibility for each cost depend on your transaction and written agreements.

Leasing & Investing

Can you help me lease an apartment or a home?

Yes. Share your preferred area, monthly budget, move-in date, household space needs, and any pet requirements. Use Search Rentals to explore listings, or contact LaVonne to discuss your search.

What should I prepare before applying for a rental?

Ask for the property’s application instructions, screening criteria, fees, and required documents before applying. Requirements vary by property. Submit sensitive documents only through the application channel designated for that property; approval is determined by the property owner or manager.

Can you help me look for an investment property?

Yes. Start with your preferred area, property type, budget, and intended use. LaVonne can assist with the property search and transaction; investment performance is not guaranteed, and tax or financial questions should be reviewed with your own advisers.

Probate & Senior Transitions

Can you help with an inherited property?

LaVonne can assist with the real estate side of an inherited property and coordinate with your attorney and other professionals as needed. Contact her to discuss the property and where you are in the process. Questions about ownership, probate, or authority to sell should be reviewed with your attorney.

Do I need to have probate completed before contacting you?

You can reach out while you are gathering information. LaVonne can discuss your real estate goals and preparation needs. Your attorney should advise you on the legal process and when you have authority to proceed with a sale.

What are senior transition services?

These services focus on the real estate decisions involved in downsizing or moving to a different living arrangement. LaVonne can discuss selling your current home, searching for your next home, and coordinating the timing with you and the people you choose to involve.

Can a family member join the conversation?

Yes. Let LaVonne know whom you would like to include and how they are helping. Any questions about who may make decisions or sign documents should be addressed with the appropriate legal professional.

Using This Website

Will my inquiry go to LaVonne?

Request Information opens LaVonne’s Lofty agent website, where the inquiry form identifies her as the agent. Complete and submit that form to send an inquiry. The conversation planner on this page only creates notes on your device; it does not send them.

Are the homes in the banner available listings?

The banner photograph is used for visual presentation and is not advertised as an available listing. Use Search Homes or Search Rentals to explore property listings and confirm current availability.

How can I contact LaVonne directly?

Call or text 626-525-SOLD (7653), or use Request Information. The Call and Text buttons open a compatible app on your device. Property searches and the inquiry page open in a new tab.
